Not ever having written any books, apart from copying Biblical Gospels, the Celts developed ways of using visual symbols to tell a story. Accordingly, the components of this image, stylized dogs, are the vocabulary, and the way they are used becomes the grammar of the message. As symbols for the highest kind of love, the dogs here are tightly holding onto each other's bodies with their mouths, implying intimacy, with a mutually strong passion for remaining together.
These bands pictured are Sterling Silver. Bands have a space in the design which is intended to be the back of the band. See images
These bands do have a blank space in what would be the back of the band. See images for reference.
