Ash Cross Pendant

On Ash Wednesday Christians traditionally begin the observation of lent. In many churches, a cross of ashes is smudged onto the forehead as a reminder of mortality as the forty days of penance and self-reflection begin, ending with the celebration of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

This texture of this design is derived from the thumb print of Rev. Dennis Walker, Steve’s cousin. Dennis was ordained in the summer of 2021 and is now serving as Parochial Vicar of St. Rose of Lima Parish in North Syracuse, and St. Margaret Church in Mattydale, NY.

The design is available as a necklace pendant or as a flat pin. Sterling silver with a black, oxidized finish.

This pendant comes with your choice of a black cord or a Sterling Silver cable chain. Pendant is pictured with an 18" Sterling Silver cable chain and a black cord
